DG Air Freight specializes in the transportation and logistics of dangerous goods, offering air cargo, sea freight, trucking, storage, and consultancy services. I liked the website's combination of traditional design elements with contemporary content sections and how it establishes the company as a specialist in the industry.
A few standout features on the site included a comprehensive section on the company's compliance standards, various customer reviews, and the "Training" page, which advertises a variety of online courses on preparing and accepting dangerous goods.
On desktop, the website functions quite well with plenty of white space allowing me to easily read the different content sections, and the helpful search bar makes navigation all that more easier. However, it would be great if the top-right CTA buttons remained sticky as you scroll down, and I think the addition of a client login portal button in the top menu bar would be beneficial.
On Google's PageSpeed Insights test, the website's home page was well-scored with 84/100 for its performance and 92/100 for its SEO practices.
While I liked the refined appearance of the mobile site, its pages took quite a long time to load and it became cumbersome to scroll while many page elements were missing. I also think some content sections become too condensed on the smaller screen and would benefit from a "read more" snippet to cut through the denseness. The home page was awarded a performance score of 39/100 on Google's PageSpeed Insights test.
