Plant22 is a co-working space in Amsterdam-West that has a unique environment, including a garden, a meeting room, and only eight workstations. The site has a colorful grid layout that complements the business's goal to promote creativity and collaboration. The simple, minimalist design, is divided into four blocks: space, members, membership, and contact — a striking design that sparks creativity.
Clicking on a block expands it so you can see the available content, which includes high-quality images, member profiles, and pricing. The contact page offers the address and a link to email the company — and that's all the information needed for this business!
The desktop site makes strong use of the available space and has a great feel. I enjoyed navigating around the blocks, which made me think of workstations, and the images were beautifully clear. However, I did find myself wishing I could expand the images for a closer look. The desktop site performed exceptionally well on PageSpeed Insights, earning 100/100 for performance, best practices, and SEO, with only the accessibility score, at 73/100, showing room for improvement.
The mobile site has a simple, fun layout that has the same easy navigation as the desktop site. The images took full advantage of the resizing and were much more visible than on the desktop site, surprisingly! I did have to scroll a bit to see all the information in the other blocks, particularly the members' section, but this didn't take away from my easy experience at all. The mobile site also rated very highly on PageSpeed Insights, with a performance score of 96/100.
