CA Perfume is a fragrance retailer that offers a wide range of luxury and eco-conscious perfumes. I enjoyed the website's romantic imagery and warm color choices that convey a sense of elegance and class, as well as its use of introductory videos on the home page to draw visitors in.
I liked that all essential information, such as the company's statistics, its best-selling perfumes, and promotional offers, is available on the home page. While I appreciated the addition of the brand's social media on the home page for increased visual interest, it would have been great if the website had a scent quiz for readers to more easily find their fragrance match.
The desktop website features lots of visual interest with dynamic images and videos that, in my opinion, enhance the overall user experience. I found it easy to access vital company and product information, but I would have liked an FAQ section for additional information on shipping, returns, and payment options. On Google's PageSpeed Insights test, the home page scored 62/100 in the performance category.
I liked that the mobile website's content slims down nicely to fit the smaller screens and retains its crisp look. I also appreciated the sticky bottom menu bar for users to easily access their wish list and shopping cart, creating an intuitive purchasing experience. The home page's PageSpeed Insights score of 30/100 was likely due to slow page loading times, but our real-world tests indicated a more user-friendly experience.
