Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp is an award-winning camping site near Noosa, Australia. The campsite offers a variety of accommodation options, including camping, glamping, and cabins.
Visitors can easily find information about accommodation, activities, sustainability efforts, and booking. However, much of the website content is hidden behind the "MORE" menu, including the blog, park map, and park rules. A standout feature is the sustainability section, where visitors can learn how to offset their carbon footprint when traveling to the location.
The desktop website looks spectacular, with expansive high-quality images dominating the home page and accommodation pages. The "Book Now" button is always present in the sticky top menu for quick bookings and the chatbot pops up intermittently but is easily closed. While the site is generally quite fast, we found some of the pages loaded slowly. The desktop site scored 74/100 on Google's PageSpeed Insights test.
The mobile website maintains the overall aesthetic and functionality, retaining the high-quality images on the home page. While the sticky top menu converts into a hamburger menu, it quickly loses the CTA booking button when scrolling, which seems like an oversight. In real-world tests, many of the pages felt slow to load as confirmed by the Google PageSpeed performance score of 30/100.
